Police in Sacramento, California, report that at least five people were injured during a mass shooting on Monday night.
reports that at approximately 8:18 p.m., Sacramento Police responded to a complaint of gunfire in the vicinity of Coral Gables Court and Meadowview Road in South Sacramento.
According to officials, several people—including a minor—were shot.
Three males, two females, and one girl were among the victims who were taken to the hospital to receive medical attention for their wounds. It is anticipated that they will live.
Even after the victims were brought to the hospital, there was still a significant police presence there.
An elderly victim was randomly punched by a California man who stopped to pose for a picture before being apprehended by police.
